Dossier especial sobre Músicas del Mediterráneo
Trans. Revista Transcultural de Música
TRANS- Revista Transcultural de Música 14 (2010) presentará un Dossier especial sobre Músicas del Mediterráneo editado por Rubén Gómez Muns (Universitat Rovira i Virgili) y Fethi Salah (Ecole Normale Supérieure - Kouba - Argel).Para complementar el dossier se convoca a todos los especialistas interesados a enviar textos sobre esta temática según las siguientes líneas.
El Mar Mediterráneo nos abre las puertas a un área cultural rica, compleja y diversa, marcada por procesos de interacción multidireccionales entre Europa, el Magreb, el Mashreq, los Balcanes y Turquía. Unos procesos de intercambio culturales que han tenido en la música uno de sus mejores portadores, reflejando tanto los procesos de hibridación, mestizaje y patrimonialización; las relaciones postcoloniales; el fenómeno de la globalización; así como los movimientos migratorios y de diáspora.
Este número pretende reunir escritos que aborden la complejidad cultural actual del mediterráneo a través del prisma de la música y a partir de una perspectiva interdisciplinar que se ocupen tanto la música tradicional, música popular, escenas locales, diásporas, aspectos teóricos, prácticas musicales, industrias culturales, etc.
Los artículos pueden ser escritos en castellano, inglés, francés, italiano o portugués. Fecha límite para recibir originales: septiembre de 2009.

TRANS- TRANS-Transcultural Music Review 14 (2010) is preparing a special issue on Musics of the Mediterranean for 2010, edited by Rubén Gómez Muns (Universitat Rovira i Virgili) and Fethi Salah (Ecole Normale Supérieure - Kouba - Argel). We are accepting original articles on this topic, which could complement those included in this number.
The Mediterranean Sea gives way to a rich, complex and diverse cultural area, marked by multiple and intertwined processes of interaction between Europe, the Maghreb, the Balkans and Turkey. These processes of cultural exchange have found in music one of its best carriers, embodying issues of hybridization, métissage and patrimonialization; postcolonial relationships, globalization, and also migrancy and diaspora movements.
This special issue pretends to gather original works about the cultural complexity of the Mediterranean through the lens of music and from a interdisciplinary perspective, which deals with traditional music, popular music, local music scenes, diasporas, musical practices, cultural industries, theory, etc.
We accept contributions in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. The deadline for the submission of the articles is September 2009.

TRANS- Revue Transculturelle de Musique 14 (2010) présentera un dossier spécial sur Les Musiques de la Méditerranée édité par Rubén Gómez Muns (Université Rovira i Virgili) et Fethi Salah (Ecole Normale Supérieure-Kouba-Alger). Pour constituer ce dossier, nous invitons tous les spécialistes intéressés par cette thématique à envoyer leurs textes selon les lignes suivantes.
La Mer Méditerranéenne nous ouvre les portes sur une aire culturelle riche, complexe et diversifiée, marquée par des processus d'interaction multidirectionnels entre l'Europe, le Maghreb, le Mashreq, les Balkans et la Turquie. Des processus d'échange qui ont eu en la musique l'un de ses meilleurs véhicules, reflétant aussi bien les processus d'hybridation, de métissage et de patrimonialisation; les relations postcoloniales; le phénomène de globalisation; que les mouvements migratoires et de diasporas.
Ce numéro tente de réunir des écrits qui abordent la complexité culturelle actuelle de la Méditerranée à travers le prisme de la musique et à partir d'une perspective interdisciplinaire ; écrits qui traitent aussi bien de la musique traditionnelle, la musique populaire, les scènes locales, les diasporas, que des aspects théoriques, pratiques musicales, industries culturelles, etc.
Les articles peuvent être écrits en Espagnol, Anglais, Français, Italien ou Portugais. Date limite pour recevoir les originaux : septembre 2009.

Dossier especial sobre Música, tecnología y creatividad
Trans. Revista Transcultural de Música
TRANS- Revista Transcultural de Música 14 (2010) incluirá un dossier en torno al tema Música, tecnología y creatividad, a cargo de Héctor Fouce y Amparo Lasén (Universidad Complutense de Madrid)
Invitamos a todos los investigadores interesados a presentar trabajos para este volumen, en torno a las siguientes líneas temáticas:
- el rol del autor en la era de la tecnología,
- nuevos géneros musicales basados en la recombinación de materiales sonoros preexistentes (p.ej. electrónica, hiphop, pop bastardo, mashups, etc. ),
- relaciones entre usos de la tecnología y nuevas prácticas creativas,
- reorganización de la industria de la música en relación a este nuevo contexto,
- prácticas creativas de los públicos y audiencias, etc.
Los artículos pueden ser escritos en castellano, inglés, francés, italiano o portugués.
Fecha límite para recibir originales: septiembre de 2009.

TRANS- TRANS-Transcultural Music Review 14 (2010) is preparing a special issue on Music, Technology and Creativity, edited by Héctor Fouce and Amparo Lasén (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). We invite to submit original articles on this topic, which could complement those included in this number.
Suggested topics for the articles submitted are:
- transformations of the author's role,
- music genres based on the use of pre-existent materials (c.f. hip hop. Electronic music, Bastard Pop, Mashups, etc.),
- technology uses and new creative practices,
- reorganisation of the music industries in this new context,
- creative practices of publics,
- fans and audiences, etc.
We accept contributions in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
TRANS is the refereed journal of the SIBE-Sociedad de etnomusicología and the IASPM-Spain. Is the best ranked academic music journal in Spain.
The deadline for the submission of the articles is September 2009.
