Líliam Cristina Barros Cohen (Universidade Federal do Pará, Brasil)

Líliam Cristina Barros Cohen is a pianist, ethnomusicologist, and professor in the Art Graduate Program at Federal University of Pará (Brazil). She holds a PhD in ethnomusicology by the Federal University of Bahia (2006), and a postdoctoral degree in anthropology by the University of Brasília (2009). She is the coordinator of the Music and Identity Research Group and member of the UFPA Laboratory of Ethnomusicology. Among other publications, she is the author of the book Repertórios musicais em transe: música e identidade indígena em São Gabriel da Cachoeira (Edufpa, 2009).
